Frankly speaking, it had been quite a wonderful 593 days in Nitto Denko. Not to say I like the bosses or the job scope a lot, on the other hand, I hate it very much. However, it was a good place to grow and build my experience. It was a good learning center and working environment with all the friendly staffs and colleagues. Being in R&D department, it was a splendid experience excluding some of the unfair incidents. I did learn a lot from my colleagues and superiors, especially my assistant manager.
My job in R&D department was as a research and development engineer in the field of adhesive tapes for electronics industries. I was assigned into Group B when I first joined the company where I was required to handle grinding tapes and molding tapes for FABs usage as well as handling some customers’ issues. However I hated it and I was once broke down due to the unfairness at work. I was forced to handle something that I don’t like and deal with the group leader that I dislike and my boss didn’t like me as well. That was what I felt at that moment. It was the hardest time then.
Later I was transfer from Group B to Group A because my evaluation theme was forced to be terminated due to some circumstances. I like the transfer indeed. I took it as a chance of getting rid of my boredom at work at that moment.
Group A was at least more worthwhile to stay at. I gained a lot of experiences technically and practically during my stay in Group A as compared to Group B. I love working under my assistant manager. She is a very smart and experienced engineer with good leadership. She gave me a lot of guidance and advices in both my life and work. I really appreciated it. Although my boss in Group A is very hard to handle and difficult to predict, it was much comfortable in dealing with him than my previous hypocrite boss and group leader.
Last but not least, I could say that I never regretted working in Nitto because here is the place that makes me grown up and met all kinds of people including friends and enemies. Today will be a different day if I’d never met my friends such as CWC, YVO, TST, CWM, CSM, YFP, OCE, WWL, CPL, CTL and etc. They taught and guided me a lot in my life and work. Thanks my friends.
